I love everything I see there. The art, the texts, the minis. Just beautiful and a real family game, I suppose.
Congratulations for a great job.

Thanks man. In a way it is a tribute to everything I love about Heroquest.

I can see that. And read it between the lines.
You made HeroQuest a game for 8-year old boys AND girls and their parents with that.
Just... you know, awesome.
I'm gonna keep an eye on it, definitely.

Wowza!!  Smiley

Good Job.

Can you give us more information on the process you went through. Getting the miniatures sculpted, the graphic design etc ?

This looks like great fun!  It's the kind of game I'd like to see on my FLGS's demo games shelf.  If I could spare the cash, I'd contribute a copy to 'em for the purpose.

(I've been trying to help them get more stuff there that's fun for kids without necessarily being a "kids' game".  I've already been considering how one could possibly arrange "tournament" rules for Heroica…)

Very excited by this...I can so see the influences I know G-Bob has had by getting to know him over the years.  You can see the nod to Heroquest in this and I love it!!!!

…which almost begs the question: Are OSHQF members all destined to publish HQ-based dungeon crawl games that all other members conclude immediately that they must own?  And if so, does that mean this forum is basically like Amway with pillaging orcs, raping fimir, and twinkish elves?

John Ariosa's art is awesome on every part of this game. I have always felt his art was just okay although it worked with the theme to the games he has worked on in the past (Summoner Wars and Dungeon Run). But this is his strongest match to a theme ever, it literally brings the story to life for me. I want the game just for the art.

We wanted to make an "heirloom" game that everyone wants to own forever as part of their collection.
