Well, I got got banned for 1 week at HissTank.com (a G.I. Joe forum) for questioning their authority. This all got started when two users got banned believing they were one user with a "sockpuppet" account (they where really sharing a computer). Folks on a privet group of trolls called The H8ters (which we use to rant about that god awful G.I.Joe movie, without trolling the actual message board), was rating about about how an Administrator came on to our group to troll us about Troll who are non-members! I listed some fake rules as a joke (it was really funny), and it made their anal-stick twitch! I got a letter saying:

Reason: Infraction Level 3
1. No trolling, and/or flaming.
11. No public questioning/mouthing off at staff.
18. No public discussion about rules and/or administrative action taken on members.

"Last warning. Social groups are subject to all rules of the board. If you disobey them, you do so willfully and knowingly of the consequences. These are the rules you agree to everytime you log onto the site. You choose to agree to obey the rules and you choose to be infracted if you do not."

The massage ended by saying not to reply to the E-Mail, but to PM them - which would be nice, if I CAN ACCESS THEIR SITE!!! I CANT EVEN SEE THE FUCKING TREADS!!!

This forum is very open.  We're mostly like a group of friends who get together to talk a bit of shit.  We all understand it's just good fun.  We tend to lay off newcomers until they get into it, though sometimes some of us lean on them a little bit.  

Hell, we've had a few people who were long-time readers finally register and in their first post, they called us all a bunch of fags!

I don't see myself ever banning anyone unless they come here talking shit with the intent of hurting people's feelings.
