Hey you guys making doors is easy as hell with foam. Don't spend all that money, as you can easily make the doors out of foam. I love this foam stuff.

Ok here I am just grabbing a piece of scrap foam and I marked a 2 inch wide 2 1/2 inch tall rectangle on it which will match all of the openings in my dungeon
...

Here I just marked out the shape of an arched door.
...

See here the door shaped chunk cut out
...

Take the door frame and use your knife blade to carve a brick pattern into it
...

Take the door shaped chunck and slice it in half this way:
...

Carve a wood plank type patern on both sides of one of the halves.
...

Using thin card, add some cross bars and a square latch area to both sides and hot glue it to the door
...

Check the door for fit
...

Paint the door. Leave the door itself unglued so that you can pop it out and place it so create an open door.
...
Here is what it looks like in my dungeon.

.....wow.....

We all talk about how "I wish I could do that".....I'm not sure if I should wish for more money, more time, more artistic ability, or more space to hold all these materials?! Maybe there is a post-college life when I can work, save up money, work towards owning my own home, and have those 4 things I need (money, time, art abil, and storage space). Right now it seems like a distant dream instead of a certain reality  ???

Thanks for the praise but man you guys this stuff is so cheap and easy to work with, I feel guilty. I really think you all should try this. That door was a joke it was so easy. You can carve right into the foam the wood grain and everything.

Malechi, move over here, we can HQ/HS all you want.

Is it bad that I carefully worded that to try to avoid perverseness.  Though you'll all find it anyways.

Gbob, I love it, but I also love my Hirst Arts molds . . . Not too mention, I don't think I could fake cavern walls with it very easily.
