I have HUNDREDS of mageknight figures for rebasing... I base them on plain black bases to match my D&D miniatures.. and that way inside or outside they just have a shadow Tongue

That's what I was doing until I got all wrapped up in Heroscape.

Heroscape is okay... But it's not as good as warhammer Skirmish/Mordhiem.. so I am getting together armies of MK figures for Warhammer games..

Because I am lazy.. and hate painting..

The end.

Hey Oges, have you had a look at that Warhammer Skirmish book ? It was never released in Aus I don't think. I downloaded some rules from the GW site reguarding Skirmish, but they seemed a bit thin. I thought about getting the book of eBay.

The book does not have the rules... just the scenarios.. the rules for warhammer skirmish are in the back of the latest Warhammer core rule book.

and they are exactly like mordheim.

I own both the core rule book and the skirmish book..

you can get tons of scenarios on the GW website.. just go to the warhammer skirmish section.

Good Gaming.

Having played both, I would say that it is the other way around, but that is why it is good that this is a world full of games. On a side note, I just got way over a thousand Mage Knight minis off of ebay and I don't think I will be buying another miniature for a long long time. Time to get to rebasing. I think I am going to go with the technique on the far right for all of my dungeon crawly types.

Yeah that base looks pretty cool. Where do you get them though for re-basing ? The games company should make the minis with little holes in their feet and plugs on the bases to make it easier.

At the craft store they sell these big rolls of vinyl cobblestone for making holiday village layouts. Anyway I got that and used a circle cutter to cut out a one inch disc and then glued it to a washer. It was rather simple to do.

Yes I like this game too, the only downside is the need for a big table or floor area to set it up on and it takes a bit of time to do (but thats fun).

I think one of the major parts of the game for us is choosing units at the start - we use the draft rules and our choices are partly determined by what the other person chooses - a way of stopping each other having certain lethal combos or picking troops that counter well.

Im looking forward to being back in my own place where I can set it up and leave it to play a few different scenarios on before having to pack it away again.

There is sooo much stuff on heroscape.net I dont know where to start  Wink
