Yeah not cause they want to though, the price of tin has gone up.  Heresy is also raising prices.  Thing is, Reaper figures are still dickass cheaper than fucking GW, and they make notstupid looking shit.

Reaper is cheaper if you compare GW's most expensive to there reapers cheapest...as far as just regular metal figure to regular metal figure they are about the same now... or GW is cheaper.

Good point, but the figures that they sell two to a pack usually look like cow ass.  Any type of figure that looks like he could be a Hero in GW figures usually still looks like cow ass and is 8 bucks more.

I agree their plastics are dope.  More companies should do plastics, so much easier to convert.  I lost three tools trying to convert my werewolf.

I always thought that they should make plastic eldar figures.  All their Eldar guardians and aspect warriors back in the early 90's range would have worked awesome in plastic.  They had the arms and weapons in plastic and I doubt that casting them in plastic would have lowered the quality of the figures any.  Plus, as Scratch is always so keen to mention, they would be so much easier to convert and pose as you liked instead of settling for the silly GW poses.  I think if they made more sets like these in plastic, more people would be willing to shell out the dough to get their games.  You could buy armies for so much cheaper.  At the very least, make regular warriors and squads and stuff plastic and do only heroes and shit in metal.

Ummmm... plastic one-piece guardians last time i checked.  I gave up when they came up with that whole 3rd edition rules bullshit.  The Dark Eldar looked cool and all, but enough was enough.

When did these come out?  I had a look at the Citadel catalog about 2 years ago and the only plastic Eldar were the Guardians and the vehicles, and the Guardians were alright looking but I believe they were one piece...?

P.S.  The Eldar vehicles kick ass.

Looks like the Eldar do have new plastics.  Kinda cool, but they've changed them.  They look like they're trying to make them look all buff, and they have these stupid backpack things.  Good on them for making plastics, bad for making 8 dudes cost 30 bucks, and bad for changing their look.  You do get 16 dudes for 30 bucks when you get the normal Eldar, though, and that's pretty badass.  Less than 2 bucks apiece.  Now why is it that if I want 8 plastic Dire Avengers, I pay the same as 16 plastic Guardians?  Cause GW is a whore.

Here's a sprue:

Looks pretty cool, very poseable.  Good job.

And, making plastic sets won't reduce price with GW.  I mean, look at their fucking tanks.  I paid 100 bucks for that Tau set, and it was all plastic.

Their metals do cost more than their plastics, but in a ridiculous way.  I remember seeing a Tau robot guy that was the exact same thing as one of the regular Tau robots (which were all plastic) but this guy was a character and had the exact same plastic components but an additional 3 or 4 metal bits that fantastically turned him into the character and it went for double the cost of the regular one.  How does that make sense?
